CONQUERING FANSIPAN – THE ROOF OF INDOCHINA

Fansipan is known as the highest peak in Vietnam and Indochina, standing at an elevation of 3,143 meters above sea level. It remains cool throughout the year, especially during the winter when snow and ice can be seen at its summit. It’s a destination that every traveler to Sapa aspires to conquer. A 2-day, 1-night journey to climb and conquer Fansipan will give you a sense of pride and rekindle your self-confidence. It’s also a time when you can fully immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the majestic Hoang Lien Son mountain range.

TOUR INFORMATION & ITINERARY

  • Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa
    At 09:00 p.m., the sleeper bus will pick you up at Hanoi and Nội Bài Airport’s terminal, departing for Sapa.
  • Day 2: Sapa – Tram Ton – Rest Camp at 2800m
    At 4:00 a.m., you will arrive in Sapa.
    At 7:30 a.m., enjoy breakfast before the bus and tour guide pick up the group for the journey to Tram Ton (15km).
    At 8:30 a.m., you will begin your ascent of the Hoang Lien range from Tram Ton. At noon, take a break for lunch at the 2,200m rest point. After lunch, the journey continues to the 2,800m rest camp.
    At 5:00 p.m., you will arrive at the 2,800m rest camp to rest, have dinner, and prepare for the next day’s climb to the 3,143m summit.
  • Day 3: Rest Camp at 2800m – Fansipan Summit 3143m – Tram Ton – Sapa

At 4:00 a.m., your guide will wake you up to have breakfast and begin the ascent to the summit to witness the sunrise at the nation’s rooftop.

By 6:00 a.m., you will reach the towering peak of Fansipan. If the weather is favorable, you may witness the sun breaking through the clouds, offering a magnificent panorama. You’ll have time to rest, take photos, and celebrate your triumph. Afterward, the entire group will descend from the mountain back to the starting point at Tram Ton.

At 11:00 a.m., enjoy lunch along the way down at the 2800m rest point. As the group returns to Tram Ton in the afternoon, the vehicle will pick you up to return to Sapa for a hot bath.

At 9:00 p.m., the bus will pick you up for your return journey to Hanoi.

At 5:00 a.m. the next day, you will arrive in Hanoi, concluding the tour.

You can choose to take the cable car back to Sapa after successfully conquering Fansipan (cable car tickets are at your own expense).

Cancellation Policy:

  • In the event of canceling the tour immediately after booking up to 7 days before the departure date, you will receive a full refund of the deposit.
  • If you cancel the tour within 3 to 6 days before the departure date, you will be charged a 50% cancellation fee of the deposit.
  • If you cancel the tour within 2 days before the departure date, you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee of the deposit.
    If we are unable to conduct the tour due to unforeseeable circumstances such as natural disasters, epidemics, or government orders, we will promptly inform the customer and refund the entire deposit amount to the customer within 3 days from the date of the cancellation notice, in cash or by bank transfer.

WE PROVIDE

  • Round-trip transportation by bus and train from Hanoi to Sapa, with shuttle service.
  • Morning accommodation upon arrival in Sapa. A hot bath at the hotel.
  • Shuttle service to the Tram Ton starting point.
  • Meals: 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 dinner.
  • The mountain climbing package includes gloves, a raincoat, a first aid medical kit, a sleeping bag, a camping tent, a porter, a tour guide, and Lavie drinking water 1.5l per person per day.
  • Entrance ticket to Hoang Lien Son National Park.
  • Insurance: maximum payout of 80,000,000 VND per incident.

WHAT YOU NEED TO PREPARE

  • A 20-30 liter backpack for mountain climbing with a rain cover.
  • 01 pair of hiking pants (lightweight, breathable), 02 long-sleeved shirts (quick-drying), 01 warm windbreakers, 02 thermal long-sleeved shirts, 02 short-sleeved t-shirts, 01 pair of shorts, 01 pair of hiking or trekking shoes, 03 pairs of socks, 01 hiking pole (if available), and enough additional clothing for your stay in Sapa.
  • A cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, personal cosmetics, and personal medications (if necessary).
  • Camera, charger, other recording devices, and a waterproof bag.
